Warranty Policy

At Bethel Computech, we are committed to delivering high-quality refurbished products that meet customer expectations. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Bethel Computech provides warranty services for refurbished hardware products and accessories purchased through our official sales channels.

1. Scope of Warranty

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Bethel Computech through our official website, retail store, or authorized direct sales channels.

Products purchased through third-party marketplaces or resellers may be governed by the respective seller’s warranty policy unless otherwise specified.


2. Warranty Period

Standard Warranty

Non-Apple Products

All refurbished laptops, desktops, mini PCs, and related hardware products are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of original retail purchase.

Apple Products

Refurbished Apple products including MacBook, iMac, and Mac Mini are covered by a 6-Month Limited Warranty from the date of original retail purchase.

Accessories & Peripherals

Networking devices, adapters, chargers, keyboards, mice, monitors, and bundled accessories may carry a warranty period of 3 to 6 months, depending on the product listing.


Extended Warranty

Customers may optionally purchase an Extended Warranty Plan providing additional coverage beyond the standard warranty period. Terms and inclusions of extended warranty plans are provided separately at the time of purchase.


3. What is Covered

Bethel Computech warrants that the refurbished hardware product and included accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions.

Covered Hardware Components

Warranty coverage includes:

  • Display / Screen
  • Motherboard
  • Processor
  • RAM
  • SSD / HDD
  • Keyboard & Touchpad
  • Cooling Fan
  • Internal Hardware Components
  • Original Included Accessories (limited warranty period applies)

Bethel Computech will repair or replace hardware defects arising from manufacturing faults or normal operational failure during the applicable warranty period.


4. What is Not Covered

Software Issues

This warranty does not cover:

  • Operating system corruption
  • Driver issues
  • Virus or malware infections
  • Third-party software
  • Application compatibility issues
  • Data recovery

Third-Party Accessories

Any third-party accessory or external device not originally included with the product is not covered under this warranty.


5. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Physical damage including cracks, dents, scratches, or broken ports
  • Damage caused by liquid spills, fire, accidents, misuse, or negligence
  • Power surges or electrical damage
  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Damage caused by improper installation or usage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Battery backup reduction due to regular usage
  • Consumable items unless defective upon delivery
  • Products with tampered or removed serial numbers
  • Theft or loss of product
  • Damage caused by unsupported hardware or accessories

6. Customer Responsibilities

Data Backup

Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of all personal data. Bethel Computech is not responsible for any data loss during diagnosis, repair, replacement, or servicing.

Proof of Purchase

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Original invoice or order confirmation
  • Product serial number
  • Warranty details
  • Identity verification if necessary

7. Warranty Claim Process

Remote Diagnosis

Our technical support team may first attempt remote troubleshooting to resolve the issue.

  • Inspected by an authorized technician

Repair or Replacement

If the issue is verified under warranty:

  • The product will be repaired, or
  • Replaced with an equivalent refurbished unit of similar specifications and condition

Replacement products continue under the remaining warranty period of the original purchase.


8. Shipping & Handling

Covered Warranty Shipping

If the issue qualifies under warranty coverage, Bethel Computech may cover shipping charges for servicing.

Non-Covered Claims

If inspection determines the issue is outside warranty coverage, the customer may be responsible for:

Packaging Responsibility

Customers must ensure proper packaging while shipping products for service. Bethel Computech is not responsible for transit damage caused by improper packaging.


9. Limitation of Liability

Bethel Computech does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of refurbished products.

Warranty coverage is limited strictly to hardware defects in materials and workmanship.

Bethel Computech shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Software-related issues
  • Customer negligence

10. Service Availability

Service support depends on:

  • Spare parts availability
  • Product model
  • Service location accessibility

Certain repairs may require additional turnaround time depending on component availability.


11. Force Majeure

Bethel Computech shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to fulfill warranty obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Fire
  • Pandemic restrictions
  • Government regulations
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Supply chain shortages
  • War or civil disturbances

12. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.

Any resale or transfer of ownership voids this warranty unless explicitly approved by Bethel Computech.


13. Customer Conduct

Bethel Computech is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional service environment.

Abusive behavior, threats, harassment, or misconduct toward staff may result in refusal or limitation of warranty services.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.

Any disputes arising from this policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
